From Celebrities to High School Students, Universities to Colleges, Faculties to Schools; all in one time or the other have held Prom or even in some, included in their annual calendar.

Prom nights experience the most distinct of styles ever and everyone tries to be unique. Despite the level of designs and choice, girls normally face difficulties when choosing a dress. The degree of versatility has still not removed the risk of wearing the same dress as another girl. This can be socially embarrassing.

If you are going to a common Prom with your date, the best way to start off is to decide on what you two will wear so that you match. Even if another girl come dressed similarly, the probability that her date will have worn the same is reduced. For those who want to appear slick and tall and yet portray that sexy look a strapless Quinceanera gown with a sweetheart neckline would do. The best design is the much dropped waist bodice covered with floral embroidery and beading. The skirt should be full of layered organza ruffles. Would you ask for more?

For those who are very tall and slick and would like to appear shorter but still gorgeous a Prom dress such as the Beaded Shantique gown would do. It should be sleeveless say with spaghetti straps and a slightly scooped neckline at least to show the neck and upper chest. The beads can be special shiny stone or crystals. Avoid the long gowns with tail as these will negate what you have been trying to do: to look shorter.

If you know you have a perfect height and body with clear hip line contour and really need to show it off then the A-line dress is the way to go. What you only need to do is to ensure that it is tight fitting from just below the waist upwards. For teenagers sleeveless is still the best. Asymmetrically wide pleated cummerbund embroidered and accented with fabric roses will also work here quite well.

Just know that in a Prom you can have that dream come true only if you become creative and very selective.
